K-20 is based on the Japanese novel Kaijin-20-menso ('Fiend with Twenty Faces') by Edogawa Rampo and will be released in Japan December 27th 2008. Character Background:
Kaijin Niju Menso, the 'Fiend with Twenty Faces,' is a master criminal with a gift for disguise. His face has never been seen, and his identity has never been revealed. The Fiend performs criminal acts of theft and deception to demonstrate his intelligence, and he shares a mutual respect with detective Kogoro Akechi who regards the Fiend as his greatest foe.
